Furniture Repair
Our owner is a furniture designer in his spare time. We have been repairing furniture for our customers from Lawrence to KCMO and everywhere in between, as we work hard to please our clients while keeping our company running smoothly, which was something that we had to learn as doing business during Covid 19 is difficult so having the right tools for this is important.
To view the behind-the-scenes process that goes into furniture restoration and repairs (its quite fascinating!) click on one of the photos below:
Ethan Allen curio table
My client’s dog had chewed on a couple corners but he didn’t want to replace it. I knew I could make the damage go away! Here are some before and afters; click on the thumbnail to launch the gallery. Use this post to learn about the best replacement peloton pedals.

Antique Chair
Brought to me by a client, she’d bought it at a yard sale and loved the design of the chair and the yardsale bargain pricetag. But the chair had some defects in the curvature of the top and it just took away from the beauty. Click on the photograph below to see some progress and after photos.
Antique Sewing Machine
This was found discarded in the country in a ditch. Can you believe it?! It was a mess though. The wood was dry and brittle and splintering apart. I replaced the top of the case and put a lot of work into bringing life back into the wood and all the details. The machine itself seems to work, when you pump the foot pedal the needle goes up and down. Unfortunately I didn’t take “before” photos. But I believe the completed images speak for themselves anyway. Have a look, click the photo below to see the whole machine.
